When Your Mind Won’t Slow Down and You’re Tired of Feeling on Edge

Maybe you’ve noticed you’re overthinking everything lately. Replaying conversations, worrying about what could go wrong, trying to prepare for every possible outcome.

You may feel it in your body, too—tightness in your chest, a racing heart, restless energy, trouble sleeping, you just can’t relax.

You may not know what you're anxious about but, you just know that something feels off.

You might be asking yourself:

“Why am I feeling this way?”
“Why can’t I turn my brain off?”
“Why does everything feel so overwhelming?”
“Why can’t I just relax?”

What Can You Expect

Working on anxiety in therapy is a kind way to help your mind and body feel safe. We will find small, manageable steps to help you slow down so you can breathe easier and feel less on edge.

Here you will have a safe place to share how you feel without anyone judging you. We will work together to find ways to help you stay calm in the moment without the urge to react to every situation. You will learn that self-care leads to self-empowerment.

In our time together you will learn how to:

- recognize when the worry begins
- identify the signals your body is giving you
- gain confidence in taking a step back so you can listen to your body and take care of yourself

Over time, things that used to feel very scary will lose their power over you. You may begin to notice that your heart does not race as fast or as often.  You may find that you sleep better at night. You will get to know yourself better and feel more secure in your decision-making abilities.

Therapy will help you move from just making it through the day to being able to enjoy your life.

Your Anxiety Is Trying to Tell You Something

Anxiety is exhausting. Especially when you feel like you're constantly trying to get ahead of it.

Maybe you've become really good at planning, checking & double checking, staying busy, or making sure everyone else is okay. These things may give you a sense of control in the moment, but they can also leave you feeling drained.

Rather than judging yourself for being anxious allow therapy to be a place to help you slow down. A safe space where you can begin to understand why you are anxious.

We can look at what's happening beneath the worry and begin to understand the patterns.

You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone

Therapy for anxiety is not simply telling yourself to “stop worrying.” Together, we can explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns contributing to your anxiety.

We may work on ways to help you:

- Feel more grounded
- Recognize what your body is telling you
- Set reasonable boundaries
- Develop techniques to help you quiet the constant mental noise so you are better able to respond to life with intention.

Most importantly, we'll work at a pace that feels right to you.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.

If you're ready, I'd be honored to walk with you on your journey.

“I want a therapist who truly listens when I feel disconnected from myself.”

Clients choose to work with me because they are ready to shift long‑standing patterns, allowing them to reconnect with their identity and experience meaningful, lasting internal change.  We work together to make sense of ingrained responses in a grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental way. We do not focus only on the symptoms, we explore how past experiences have shaped the way they see themselves, how they relate to others, and how they move through the world. How these perspectives continue to influence their daily lives. This creates space for deeper shifts in self-trust, confidence, and emotional safety.

There is a difference between good and excellent therapy
