Find Healing Through Connection
Relational-Cultural Therapy
with Jessica Ingram in Denver, Colorado
RCT gives us space to understand our behavioral patterns without judging them. Together, we can explore where thepatterns cape from, how they may be affecting us today, and whether they are still serving the person we are becoming

We Are All Shaped by our Connections with Family, Partners, Friends, Communities, and other Important People in our Lives
Healthy relationships can help us feel seen, valued, supported, and connected. Relationships can also leave us feeling rejected, silenced, misunderstood, controlled, or as though we have to change who we are in order to be accepted.
Over time, your experiences influence the way you see yourself and the way you show up in relationships.
minimize your own needs
avoid conflict
over function for others
people please
withdraw when you are hurt
protect yourself by keeping others at a distance
You may have learned to:
You Don't Have to Choose Between Meaningful Relationships and Being True to Yourself
Connection doesn't require you to shrink, over-give, stay silent, or become who someone else wants you to be.
You may have learned to be the strong one. The dependable one. The one who takes care of everyone else, keeps the peace, or makes sure nobody is disappointed. Maybe you’re deeply connected to the people in your life, yet still feel lonely, misunderstood, or disconnected. Maybe you find yourself giving more than you receive, struggling to ask for what you need, or questioning whether your relationships are actually healthy for you.
You might be wondering:
“Why is it so hard for me to ask for what I need?”
“Why do I keep ending up in relationships where I don't feel seen?”
“How do I set boundaries without feeling guilty?”
“Can I be fully myself and still be loved?”

What Can You Expect From RCT?
Over time, you may begin to notice that relationships feel less confusing and more intentional. You may become more aware of what you need and more comfortable asking for it. You may recognize unhealthy patterns sooner instead of questioning yourself for months or possibly years. You may also begin to experience something that can feel unfamiliar at first: being in a relationship without losing yourself in it.
You may feel more comfortable saying no. You may stop apologizing for having needs. You may become more willing to let yourself be known. You may recognize that someone's disappointment doesn't automatically mean you've done something wrong.
And perhaps most importantly, you can begin to understand that your need for connection is not a weakness.
You deserve relationships where you feel seen, respected, supported, and accepted. Relationships where there is room for the whole person you are.
Therapy can help you understand the relationships that shaped you. Help you change the patterns that no longer serve you and build a more authentic sense of connection—with yourself and with the people who matter most.

-Set boundaries without constantly feeling guilty
-Stop taking responsibility for everyone else's emotions
-Identify relationships that leave you feeling connected versus depleted
-Navigate conflict without automatically shutting down or over-functioning
-Become more comfortable with vulnerability and asking for support
-Recognize when you're abandoning yourself to maintain connection
-Develop a stronger sense of self within your relationships
-Build relationships where you can feel both connected and authentically yourself

Understand your relationship patterns and attachment needs
You can feel more connected in relationships without losing yourself in the process
The goal isn’t to change who you are—it’s to help you feel more connected, understood, and confident in how you show up in your relationships.
